We are inviting passers by to participate in the creation of a shared vision of a city. A great city. A city that enhances life rather than detracts from it.
In this case, the city is Albufeira. We are using AI simply as another type of consciousness, capable of manifesting images from the spoken word that captures the human desire to transcend the mundane through art, poetry and music. Together, these strangers find common ground and express ethereal dreams that emerge from the field of consciousness, of which we are all a part. TRANSFORMA™ is a group of artists and tech wizards who collaborate to provide the physical mechanisms for this magic to happen.

Albufeira Becomes a Living Digital Canvas as Festival Baltum Unveils TRANSFORMA™: Whispers
Four-night city-wide art-and-tech takeover invites everyone to speak their dreams and watch AI paint them across the streets, 24–27 July 2025
Albufeira, Portugal — Festival Baltum announced that the Algarve´s iconic coastal town will burst into pixel-bright life this summer with “TRANSFORMA™: Whispers,” an immersive, city-scale experience conceived by sculptor-storyteller Toin Adams and creative technologist-musician Louis Bademosi. For four electrifying nights, passers-by will co-create a shared vision of Albufeira by simply whispering words into the onsite “Whisper Portal” that blossom into evocative projections, turning the urban fabric into an interactive gallery. The story is about Albufeira and its ancient lineage as a portal connected to the Witness Stone in Wawa, Ontario and the origins of the name Portugal - PortCale - Port of Gaia.
It's more than a show — it's a meditative journey. Harnessing digital mapping, sound and text to image AI, TRANSFORMA™ stitches together a vision of what a city could be. “If you're not playing, you're not living.”
